What to Bring to the GMAT Exam?
Items Allowed and Forbidden at the Test Center

You must bring the following items to the test center:
1. A valid form of identification (you must bring two forms of ID bearing your photograph, or you will not be allowed to take the exam).
2. The names of the study programs where you wish to send your exam scores. Please note - you cannot bring the page on which you wrote those names into the testing room.
3. The confirmation letter or email you received from Pearson VUE. However, if you do not bring the required confirmation, or if you did not receive one, you can still take the exam if you have a registered appointment.

Items prohibited during the exam:
Phones, cellphones, or any other communication device
Notes, papers, or pages
Calculators or calculator wristwatches
Watches, stopwatches, or watch alarms
Electronic organizers/PDAs
Photographic equipment
Radios or stereos
Any other electronic equipment that may assist you in the exam
Books or booklets
Dictionaries, translators, or thesauruses
Pens or other writing implements
Rulers or other measuring devices

Please note that you will be provided limited space for storing the equipment that you bring with you. You cannot use the abovementioned aids during the exam or during breaks.

Items forbidden at the test center:
All weapons, including guns, knives, or any other item that can be used as a weapon, are not allowed in the test center. No weapon of any sort can be stored in the lo ckers. These regulations apply both to off-duty security personnel and to citizens with weapon licenses. Only emergency and rescue personnel are permitted to bring weapons into the test center, during emergencies only.

Draft paper
At the beginning of the exam, the test administrators will provide you with a 5-page draft notebook. You cannot bring your own draft paper into the testing room. If you use up these pages during the exam, you can raise your hand and ask for new paper. You cannot take the pages out of the testing room for any reason. You must return all draft papers to the test administrators at the end of the exam.
